Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Urdu Copywriter to join our client at their Karachi office. The Urdu Copywriter will be responsible for creating compelling and creative copy for a variety of advertising campaigns, including print, digital, and broadcast media. This role requires strong writing skills, creativity, and the ability to think outside the box.
Responsibilities:
- Write copy for a variety of advertising campaigns, including print, digital, and broadcast media
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts and ideas for campaigns
- Develop and maintain an understanding of each client’s brand and target audience
- Ensure that all copy is culturally appropriate, accurate, and in line with the client’s brand and messaging
- Write headlines, body copy, taglines, and call-to-actions
- Proofread and edit copy to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new advertising techniques, and cultural and social norms
- Daily reporting to the Creative Director
Requirements:
- At least Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of experience as a copywriter, with a focus on the Urdu language
- Strong writing skills, with the ability to write compelling and ingenious copy
- Excellent creative and conceptual skills, with the ability to think outside the box
- Strong knowledge of cultural and social norms, and the ability to write culturally appropriate copy
- Ability to work well under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects at once
